This website is operated by Hajar Fine Jewelry (“Hajar”, “we”, “us”), an atelier based at HEXA Lebanon SAL - ABC Verdun Mall, Beirut, Lebanon. By browsing the site or placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site.

Hajar creates fine jewelry in gold and certified stones, both as stock pieces and as made-to-order and bespoke commissions. Because each piece is finished by hand, small natural variations in metal, stone, and colour are part of its character and are not defects. Product images are as accurate as we can make them, but screens vary and cannot perfectly represent a real object.

All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and, unless stated otherwise, exclude any import duties, taxes, or customs charges, which are your responsibility and depend on your destination.

Prices may change at any time, but a confirmed order is always honoured at the price you paid. If we discover a clear error in the price or description of a piece you have ordered, we will contact you before proceeding, and you may confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation by email after your payment is authorised. All pieces are subject to availability; made-to-order items enter production once your order is confirmed.

We may decline or cancel an order — for example if a piece is unavailable, if we cannot authorise payment, if we suspect fraud, or if we are unable to supply your destination — and if we do, we refund you in full.

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider, MontyPay, over a secure hosted connection; we do not see or store your full card details. By submitting an order you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method.

We accept Visa and Mastercard, along with any other methods shown at checkout. All transactions are processed in US dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise; if you pay in another currency, your bank sets the exchange rate and may add its own fees. We recommend you keep a copy of your order confirmation, invoice, and these terms for your records.

We may carry out fraud, identity, and sanctions screening before accepting an order, and we do not ship to countries or persons subject to applicable sanctions or export controls.

We ship worldwide by insured, signed-for courier (DHL). Local orders are shipped free of charge; international shipping is calculated at checkout based on your destination. Estimated dispatch and delivery times are given in good faith but are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery, and ownership of a piece passes to you once we have received payment in full.

For international orders you are the importer of record and are responsible for any duties or taxes levied by your country.

Given the nature of fine jewelry, all sales are final. Returns, refunds, or exchanges are accepted only where an item arrives damaged or a manufacturing defect is confirmed, and must be requested within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photographs.

Made-to-order pieces, personalised or engraved jewelry, resized items, special or bespoke orders, and gift cards are not eligible for return or exchange. Where a defect is confirmed we will repair or replace the piece at our discretion; refunds are issued only where repair or replacement is not reasonably possible. Every Hajar piece carries a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover ordinary wear, accidental damage, loss, or work carried out by anyone other than us. Cleaning, setting checks, and most repairs are offered as described in our Care & Warranty policy.

All content on this site — including text, photographs, designs, logos, and the name Hajar — belongs to Hajar Fine Jewelry or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes, and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use it to place fraudulent orders. We may suspend access to anyone who misuses the site.

You may not use this site if you are located in, or a resident of, any country or region subject to comprehensive international sanctions or trade restrictions, including those administered by the United Nations, the European Union, or the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate access where required by law.

Our site may link to, or make available, tools and services operated by third parties — for example our payment provider, our courier, or embedded features. We do not control these and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Any use of a third party's tools or website is at your own risk and subject to that party's own terms and privacy policy.

Except for the lifetime warranty on our pieces and any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, this website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and we give no warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose beyond those implied by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

We take great care over our pieces and this site, but to the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hajar Fine Jewelry, its officers, employees, and service providers against any claim, loss, or reasonable legal cost arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, strikes, government action, power or telecommunications failures, or epidemics. Our obligations are suspended for the duration of such an event and resume as soon as reasonably practicable.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it.

These terms, together with the policies referred to in them, are the entire agreement between you and Hajar regarding your use of this site and any order, and they replace any earlier understanding on the subject.

Lebanon is the country of domicile of Hajar Fine Jewelry. These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Lebanon, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Beirut, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the one that applies to it.
